From time to time Sistership offers Adventure Trips. These are not teaching trips per se but rather an opportunity to use our previously learned sailing skills to explore exotic, far flung destinations.
  

CROATIA
  
Sistership did a last minute adventure trip to Croatia sailing the beautiful Adriatic out of Dubrovnik on the south coast of Croatia in late August. The crew of seven women were a varied lot hailing from the US, Canada, Ireland, Australia, and the BVI. We meshed together beautifully and a wonderful time was had by all. We sailed from Dubrovnik on a one year old Jeanneau 46 from Sunsail. Visiting the lovely historic coastal islands we had a few days of light wind before the 'sirocco's blew in to give us several days of brisk sailing winds. The boat handled beautifully as did the crew. The scenery of Croatia was spectacular from the ancient walled city of Dubrovnik to the quiet uncrowded anchorages, the views were only surpassed by the warmth of the Croatian people.
